A Family of Licensed Immigration Advisers

NZ Immigration Help Service (NZIHS) was founded by Maricel Weischede in 2004, who made history as the first Filipino woman to be licensed by the New Zealand Immigration Advisers Authority in 2008. Before stepping back from practicing law, she laid the foundation for what would become one of New Zealand’s most trusted immigration firms.
Her husband, Holger Weischede, soon joined the company and has been a fully licensed immigration adviser since 2009. Their son, Pat, followed in their footsteps and became one of New Zealand’s youngest licensed immigration advisers, earning his license in 2023 at just 23 years old. Pat holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington and a Postgraduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.
The youngest in the family, Katharina, is currently pursuing a double degree in Law and Business at the University of Auckland, continuing the family’s dedication to education and service.
Together, the Weischede family brings decades of experience, deep commitment, and personal understanding to every client’s immigration journey—proudly guiding thousands toward their New Zealand dream.
