A person with a New Zealand job offer on the Green List may be eligible to immediately to apply for residence. You can be either in New Zealand or overseas when you apply. There are are a range of key criteria that must met before approval is granted. Factors such as an acceptable job offer, qualifications and/or work experience that meet New Zealand standards or occupational registration (required in some cases) are key to qualify for residence under the Green List.

Be cautious, as having your occupation on the Green List does not guarantee an immediate pathway to residence. Each occupation on the Green List has specific standards that must be met. If these standards are not met, the application will be declined. Additionally, the job offer must meet a minimum set of criteria to be acceptable.
